Academic

Tutor Database

The Humanities Students' Association is responsible for an academic tutor database available to all students. This databade is comprised of student tutors from the three schools of the HSS who have achieved 80+ in any given HSS subject.

Student tutors may configure their own pricing, and it is up to the student and their tutor to arrange meeting times and dates.

Becoming a student tutor is a great way to earn some extra cash, and fine tune your academic skills

The HSA is particularly after:

- International Relations

- Communications

- Psychology.

To register as a tutor, please email the HSA Academic Affairs Director alan.white@student.bond.edu.au and include:

*Name

*Date of birth

*Email address

*Phone number (not essential)

*Subjects wishing to tutor and semester the subject completed

*Expected finishing date

Revision Seminars

Each semester Revision Seminars for particular Humanities Faculty subjects are run. These provide students with the opportunity to be exposed to some valuable, personalised learning which will help them with their upcoming exams.

The seminars are hosted by lecturers or tutors associated with the particular subject.

If you would like to request a Revision Seminar for a particular subject contact Academic Affairs Director alan.white@student.bond.edu.au.

Academic Forums

The Humanities Student Association runs an Academic Forum for each school of the HSS.  These forums are supported by the HSS faculty and Dean of HSS Raoul Mortley,

and gives students the opportunity to openly express their concerns in regard to their learning experience within the HSS and at Bond.  HSS students will asked to talk

about issues ranging from plagarism, Tevals, assignment marking and quality of services provided within the HSS.  It is also a great opportunity simply to air your

concerns or complaints, as all feedback WILL be taken to the Dean by the Alan White and Anna Eraclides
